The evolution of same sex…

God created Adam [Hebrew: Adamah] and Eve [Hebrew: ishah], and since creation, procreation and the development of the human species has been through sex between a man and a woman.

God created laws to forbid sexual relations between people of the same-sex, it has to be said among other laws in this area; and in the Old Testament/Tanakh, specifically the Torah we read:

You are not to go to bed with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination. (Le 18:22 CJB)

In the New Testement/B’rit Hadashah we read:

24 This is why God has given them up to the vileness of their hearts’ lusts, to the shameful misuse of each other’s bodies. 25 They have exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, by worshipping and serving created things, rather than the Creator—praised be he for ever. Amen. 26 This is why God has given them up to degrading passions; so that their women exchange natural sexual relations for unnatural; 27 and likewise the men, giving up natural relations with the opposite sex, burn with passion for one another, men committing shameful acts with other men and receiving in their own persons the penalty appropriate to their perversion. (Ro 1:24–27 CJB)

And:

Don’t you know that unrighteous people will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don’t delude yourselves—people who engage in sex before marriage, who worship idols, who engage in sex after marriage with someone other than their spouse, who engage in active or passive homosexuality… (1 Co 6:9 CJB)

Some people still believe the bible is unclear on what God is saying about lawful relationships between the sexes. Yahshua, although speaking about divorce, affirmed God’s original plan at creation when he said:

However, at the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. 7 For this reason, a man should leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, 8 and the two are to become one flesh. Thus they are no longer two, but one. 9 So then, no one should break apart what God has joined together.” (Mk 10:6–9 CJB).

At the end of the day, those who want to rebel against God, whether it be in this area, or any other – for there are many ways to rebel against God; yes, those people will do so. What can we do, pray for their repentance. When they seek light, don’t despise them but open the door of truth. It’s clear Yahshua came to save, to call people to repentance, to offer live – condemnation and judgment are not part of that offer, and as people who know the truth will be aware, this is an appointed time for condemnation and judgement, by the one who is appointed to judge.

Same sex couples have fought for their rights and freedoms for many years, and our society, which is more inclined to humanist tendencies than to uphold God’s word, is accommodating their desires. What is further down the line as society heads in that direction is pointed at in the following article, courtesy of BBC News.

So, two female mice can have babies, although two male mice can not at the present time. The success rate of this process which involves genetic manipulation is low, but in time science will improve it and reduce the risk of complications and negative outcomes. Even in this article by the BBC, they suggest that the process may be possible for humans some day! For me, that is a frightening thought. What perilous times await us! We have people who change their sex now, and it can be difficult to tell men from women! We have same-sex foster parents – what becomes of their children – did they choose to grow up with two parents of the same sex? What will happen in the future if two women, or two men can have a baby? That raises a whole new set of moral and ethical problems for both believers and non-believers alike.

Satan is at war to break all the conventions in God’s law to make them mute, to blind people to the light of God’s creation, His love and His plan of salvation for us. This scientific advance to allow the genetic manipulation of same-sex seed to produce offspring is another step down the path of causing spiritual, ethical and moral confusion for mankind.

16 Shots

Yes, Jason Van Dyke has been found guilty of second-degree murder for the shooting of Laquan McDonald in 2014. It’s troubling that a police officer should shoot someone walking away from him, even though armed with a knife, at all, let alone 16 times.

But looking deeper at this, why do people have to carry weapons on the street? And what does this say about our society in terms of the continual fear some people find themselves living in, both from the common citizen, and the police?

Western spy mania?

So it appears Russia has been using technology to destabilise foreign governments like the USA, hack into sporting regulatory organisations that opposed Russia during the Olympics, and all of this seems to be the work of a small team of people who were, sloppy spies!

I find it hard to believe that spies who could achieve that level of sophistication could be so careless, and keep on them receipts for taxi’s and activate phones near the sensitive Russian GRU offices. Not only that, but their entire exploits were all conveniently held on a computer or set of computers that allowed detectives to link Russia to string of cyber-terrorism crimes. I’m guessing the password used to log on was something like vladimirputin, or moscow123!?

Something here just doesn’t seem quite right. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-45746837 It’s all a bit too neat and easy isn’t it?

Of course, the law was made for others…

So America wants to ignore the ruling of the International Criminal Court over its alleged abuses during its war on terror, and now Britain will probably also want to ignore the ruling of The International Court of Justice regarding the Chagos Islands and Britain breaking UN resolution 1514, also known as the Colonial Declaration, prohibiting the break up of colonial colonies prior to independence. Reaction Life carries a good overview: https://reaction.life/mauritius-challenges-britain-icj-status-chagos-islands/

Al Jazeera carries another article here: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2018/09/mauritius-challenges-britain-claim-chagos-islands-icj-180903142332744.html

Why is it that colonial powers, and those who have completely over-run other countries have to perpetuate a war without end, not only physically on those who they seek to make their subjects, but also systematically, through a lack of justice, framing history from their perspective; always trying to show themselves as being right, when clearly they are wrong?

Pride and conceit will always foster injustice and inequality, and I feel as much as some nations believe they are at the forefront of fighting injustice and inequality in the world, they are actually the major causes of it. The laws that prohibit nations abusing the rights of other nations, it seems, were made for others to abide by, and not themselves.

America: above the law

The International Criminal Court (ICC), the court that investigates genocides and contraventions of international treaties relating to war, and organisation much respected by the majority of the Western World has been shunned by the USA once again, continuing the trend of the US administration keeping it at arm’s length since its inception in 2002.

The reason the US doesn’t want such a court to exist is obvious, it doesn’t want its own actions to be scrutinized under the spotlight. Indeed, the US has stated that it will bring sanctions against the ICC if the court pursues any US citizen for suspected illegal criminal acts. As Warren Bolton said, in quite dramatic language, the ICC is “dead to America”.

The rampant abuse by US troops and contract soldiers something that the US government wants covered up, there are many news sources that detail the effects of war, not just the immediate deaths and effects of weaponry, but also the long-lasting damage caused by weapons with heavy metals, causing cancers and damage to natural resources. This shows that the US government’s attitude to human rights stands in deficit to its hunger for the profits which war and the subsequent massive rebuilding projects bring its way. Surely this make even more sense when we consider the US is on the brink of withdrawing from the UN Human Rights Council on the back of a poorly formed treaty encompassing disparate matters from human rights, climate change and rights pertaining to the sexual freedom of the LGBT community. I can’t help think that this treaty was deliberately hamstrung, loading into it a mismatch of ideals which in all probability will cause some countries not to want to ratify it.

Then when I consider that the US is loosening its humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, I am forced to look back at the history of the USA, and it strikes me that a country founded on destroying other people’s human rights with its genocide against the native American Indians, Trans Atlantic Slavery and the various discriminatory institutions that have sprung from that; that such a nation can never understand what it is to respect human rights, no matter how it paints itself on the world stage, that murky undercurrent and stench of iniquity will always find a way to break through.

America has not learned from its past, and is bound to keep on making the same mistakes again in the present and in the future. This abandoning of human rights principles and international justice should ring alarm bells all over the world. Who polices the police? With America appointing themselves as the guardians of the free world, what will we do as it seems all too apparent that their moral compass is off, and they refuse to have anyone to be answerable to? How does one conquer this power of self-righteousness, arrogance and conceit? Man might choose to form an alliance of nations that imposes sanctions on the USA and seeks to create new trade links with other countries in order to avoid buying from the USA. However, our God has his own way, to make the proud humbled, and as The Proverb’s state “Pride goes before destruction, and a proud spirit before a fall” (Proverbs 16:4).

A lack of mercy

Jeff Sessions referenced Romans Chapter 13 when talking about the immigration into the United States of America, and the fact that parents are being separated from their children.

Yes Romans 13 does talk about submission to authorities, but quite simply Mr Sessions and a lot of people in authority must have ignored verse 10:

10 Love does not do harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fullness of Torah. (Romans 13:10 CJB)

In that verse Torah mean’s law, specifically God’s law, but more generally this chapter is dealing with the laws of nations also. OK the parents may have broken the law but have the children? Why punish the children by housing them like cattle in an unfeeling, uncaring system when they have done nothing wrong? The children could be separated from their parents for days, weeks, months, years, or may never see them again.

One should also draw a distinction between God’s law or Torah, and mans law however, for If we examine the following scriptures, we can see that God criticises some rulers.

2  [Rulers,] does your silence really speak justice?
Are you judging people fairly?
3  [No!] In your hearts you devise wrongs,
your hands dispense violence in the land. (Psalm 58:2–3 CJB)

And again:

1  Elohim [God] stands in the divine assembly;
there with the elohim [judges], he judges:

2  “How long will you go on judging unfairly,
favoring the wicked? (Selah)
3  Give justice to the weak and fatherless!
Uphold the rights of the wretched and poor!
4  Rescue the destitute and needy;
deliver them from the power of the wicked!” (Psalm 82:1–4 CJB)

It’s clear God favours rulers who protect the rights of the poor and the needy, those who judge fairly. Yahshua himself said of the Pharisees, those who appeared to have a very precise view of the law:

23  “Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P’rushim! You pay your tithes of mint, dill and cumin; but you have neglected the weightier matters of the Torah—justice, mercy, trust. These are the things you should have attended to—without neglecting the others! 24 Blind guides!—straining out a gnat, meanwhile swallowing a camel! (Matthew 23:23–24 CJB my emphasis added)

Put quite simply, when we focus on the letter of the law, whether that be God’s law (Torah), or man’s law, and we don’t have a heart for people, we miss the point both in God’s eyes and in mans. It’s not about upholding one part of the law to the letter and forgetting the other, a right attitude to the law evenly balances, judgement, justice and mercy. The deep tragedy is, this affects the whole world, and the Jewish people living in Israel are also part of a regime that also lacks mercy.

Take for example a country like Uganda, one of the poorest in the world let alone Africa. It accepted over 1 million refugees in 2017, and only having a population of 41.5m. That totals 2.41 percent percent of its population. America on the other hand reached its limit of 50,000 refugees for 2017 half way through the year! And that only accounts for 0.0154 percent of its 325m (approx) population! Not only that, but refugees get a 30m square piece of land to do what they want with – and if you compare that to many developed countries, where it is very difficult to actually own land, shows a huge amount of generosity for such a poor country!

If you know your bible, you will see that Yahshua praised the widow who gave all of what she had though she was poor, compared to those who gave out of their great wealth (Mark 12:41-44). If we can transpose that concept to nations, and compare America (the wealthy) with Uganda (the poor), do we in fact see a situation where the poor not only give a greater proportion of their wealth than the wealthy nations do, but in fact more in value than what the wealthy nations do?

Read this from Revelation, and see what makes sense to you:

14 “To the angel of the Messianic Community in Laodicea, write: ‘Here is the message from the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the Ruler of God’s creation: 15 “I know what you are doing: you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth! 17 For you keep saying, ‘I am rich, I have gotten rich,
I don’t need a thing!’ You don’t know that you are the one who is wretched, pitiable, poor, blind and naked! 18 My advice to you is to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich; and white clothing, so that you may be dressed and not have to be ashamed of your nakedness; and eyesalve to rub on your eyes, so that you may see. 19 As for me, I rebuke and discipline everyone I love; so exert yourselves, and turn from your sins! 20 Here, I’m standing at the door, knocking. If someone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he will eat with me. 21 I will let him who wins the victory sit with me on my throne, just as I myself also won the victory and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 Those who have ears, let them hear what the Spirit is saying to the Messianic communities.” ’ ” (Revelation 3:14–22 CJB)

Using power unjustly

Take a look at this video I just saw on the BBC website

Wow! What I can see is police using their power unjustly. I don’t see any agression on the part of Robert Johnson (the man against the wall being punched). Does it take 3 officers to hit someone in the head and various parts of their body to make them sit down? There must be an easier more non violent way.

But then America has always been a nation that will use a sledgehammer to crack a nut, overbearing use of force has become an emblem of their exploits all over the earth. I guess when you are part of a system that exploits people in other countries in that way, it won’t be long before the same principles, that is the unjust use of power, become common place in the way you deal with your own people.

Globalism comes home to roost?

I find it truly amazing, the conceited, hypocritical babblings of nationalists and “anti-globalists”. They seem to have lost the ability to reason, lost the ability to see the world from anything other than a distorted perspective. We can see them in many European countries, France, Germany and Greece to name a few, and then there is the USA. What these mentally deficient people don’t realise is that globalism didn’t start in the year 2000, 2010 or 2018, but in fact a long time before that with colonialism giving birth to global capitalism and the systems of interconnectedness of trade and communications that once were stacked so heavily in favour of colonisers that they were far enough removed from the ill effects of their dominance over other countries, they just reaped the rewards in an endless and rather one way stream ox exploitation.

In this system people are capital, people are tradable and indeed people sell their skills for the best price they can to assure a future for themselves and their families. It has been this way for a long time. America has vibrant communities of Hispanic and Irish settlers, England has many black settlers from the West Indies that migrated to England after WW2, and many other countries have established communities of migrant workers.

What seems to be happening now, is that with freedom of movement, the intake of new communities into many countries is accelerated. For some people this is alarming, for some people it is an opportunity on both sides of the equation, and it can be relished and celebrated, IF people treat each other with respect.

However, what these fascist “anti-globalists” don’t realise, and I really wish I could kick them right up the arse and make them understand, is, they are cherry picking what they are “anti-globalist” about. They are blind to the hundreds if not thousands of years of globalisation that has left large chunks or other countries infrastructure and business in the hands of their very own countrymen, destabilising the nations in their grip – and causing the very influx of migrants they want to stop, as people in countries under the yoke of globalism want to escape to live; they need to escape political and religious persecution, civil unrest, conflict, economic distress, hunger and disease.

The privileges that we enjoy, from reasonably priced food (lots of stuff we can’t grow in our countries, or can’t grow enough of), to fuels, the raw materials that go into components for electronics, right the way through to gemstones and precious metals. Globalism secures them for us, all too often at the expense of the countries that we exploit to get them. But it seems now, that because the effects of what we do in our exploitation of other countries is all to visible, we not hate it and claim to be victims of the very system we control. Indeed, has globalism come home to roost!

Pulling in a scripture that captures this perfectly “The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.” (Proverbs 29:7 NIV) Knowing God means caring for other people, and even if you are not religious surely caring for other people is an integral part of what makes us human, and all citizens of a planet that we have to care for and manage for the benefit of us all.

America’s schizophrenic views on the right to protect

So we all know that America has problems with guns, the school shootings, the gang violence, war veterans affected with PTSD tipping over the edge etc. Yet nevertheless, the National Rifle Association (NRA) and many Americans will defend to their last breath the American’s right to bear arms in their as enshrined in their constitution. Americans’ have the right to protect themselves and their families.

Expand that out to a broader global scale and the weapons countries have to protect themselves, and you will see that America is frequently insisting countries like Iraq, Iran, North Korea etc disarm themselves and curb all use of specific types of weapons. Let’s acknowledge there that all weapons cause harm, and the fact some weapons in particular are used, like nuclear, biological and chemical weapons seems to cause us particular horror. Weapons cause fear, terror, instability, they encourage illicit trade, they are often misused by people in authority, they cause tragedy.

So lets also remember that the right the right to protect, in a broader context, if we substitute nations for people, is a right America wants some nations never to have. This is another string in America’s bow of dominance, keeping its enemies, both real and potential in check by enforcing military weakness alongside other strategies of dominance such economic, cultural and political.

The reality is, Americans are more likely to do harm to themselves or people in their own nation with weapons, drugs and indulgence in foods and drink than they are likely to be attacked by another country. I’m sure the insurance industry statistics and premiums back this up!

LGBT Proselytism

In recent years I’ve become aware that the LGBT movement has really grown and become a powerful force in society. It seems to me that we now have reached a point of LGBT proselytism, as drag queens go into schools to teach children as young as 2 about “gender fluidity” (Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender sexual orientations). I find that somewhat strange as there are many choices a child can make in life, why should sexuality be thrust on toddlers? Surely there are more important things at that stage in life? How do we know those young children were not confused by what they saw? Why should the majority of children in those classes who are heterosexual be subjected to a spectacle like this?

I personally find drag queens repulsive, often over-sexualised examples of moral filth. That is not to say that I would discriminate or harm any LGBT person in any way, I just do not understand their impulses, and do not want to.

It seems to me that when it comes to the “protected characteristics” of race, sexual orientation and faith, there will always be conflicts in society because some people’s faith is at odds with some people’s sexual orientation, but because our society appears to value freedom of sexual orientation as paramount, over and above freedom of religion, we will always see these strange cases where people who try to exercise their faith are considered to be discriminating.

In public institutions I can see why any type of discrimination is not to be tolerated. However, for privately run institutions there is a grey area. For example people who have a faith may want to go to a place where they know that the other guests share their same principles, just as people who go to a whorehouse would probably not like to be interrupted by a church choir. Narrowing the choice for one section of society (LGBT), enables a choice to be made in conscience for another (those with a faith). No-one goes into a Halal or Jewish butchers to demand pork and then feel their rights have been deprived and make a complaint, neither does one go to a vegetarian restaurant and demand meat or vice versa, no, they go elsewhere so their needs can be met. The differences between public and private institutions need to be made clearer and the options for people need to be considered, narrowing of choice is not discrimination.

Society doesn’t see it yet, but what we are in fact doing is curtailing the freedoms of those who have faith, for those who demand that their sexual orientation be accepted by everyone, even for people, who by their nature can not do so without offending the God they worship and revere, and denying their own “protected characteristics”.
